Every substantive correction is recorded here, with the date and what changed.

Why this page exists

This site tells readers to check dates, follow claims to sources and notice what a publisher has no reason to tell them. A site giving that advice cannot quietly amend its own mistakes.

A visible correction costs a little credibility once. An invisible one costs all of it when found.

What counts as a correction

Logged here: a factual error, a misdescribed study or regulatory action, a source misattributed, a described practice that does not match how the field works, or a recommendation reversed.

Not logged: typographical fixes, clarified wording that does not change meaning, and statements accurate at their stated check date.

If we described your conference wrongly

No event is named as predatory here, by policy. If something on this site nonetheless describes a pattern in a way that misrepresents a specific event you organise, say so and it will be corrected.

If the archive is wrong

The 2015 archive contains names, affiliations and abstracts of presenters at the 36th IATUL conference.

If you presented there and something is wrong — a misspelled name, an incorrect affiliation, an abstract that is not yours — tell us and it will be fixed. That takes priority over everything else on this page, because it concerns people's own professional records and they did not choose to have them hosted here.

If you would prefer your entry removed, that will also be done on request.

Reporting one

Say what is wrong and why. Corrections are the most useful message this site receives.

The log

No corrections have been logged yet. This site is new, and an empty log means only that — not that no errors exist. When one is found it will appear here with the date it was published, the date it was corrected, and what was wrong.
